8Days Botanical Selfcare
8Days Botanical Selfcare
FOUNDER STORY Rose has been working in skincare product development for over 8 years, and is a certified Herbalist, Aromatherapist and Cosmetic Formulator.  After launching over 600 personal care products in retailers like Target and Whole Foods, Rose noticed that most of the products on the shelves were missing ingredients that truly nourish us- organic extracts and freshly harvested botanicals.  Unable to find products that were up to her impeccable standards of efficacy and potency, Rose set out to make 8 Days Botanicals for women like her who are ready for food-grade self-care. “So good you could eat it,” is her mantra, and that standard is infused into every one of the products. Rose founded 8 Days Herb Farm in 2017, which fuels many of the ingredients in our farm-to-bottle product line. ABOUT US Rooted on our 40-acre family flower farm in Sebastopol, California, 8 Days creates botanical rituals inspired by the plants we grow. From field to bottle, our products capture the potency of... More

Refill Mercantile
Refill Mercantile
The Refill Mercantile Journey Welcome to Refill Mercantile!! So happy you are here on this low waste journey with us! Remember the days when our parents reused everything until it wasn't reusable anymore? My mom would reuse plastic sandwich bags, containers food came in, I wore hand-me-down clothes from cousins and she made a lot of my clothes until I...um... got curves. This was also about the time when she went back to work. Enter TV dinners with all kinds of waste and nothing reusable. This was the late 1980's early 1990's. The age of my friends moms and mine going to work and us kids getting take out or prepared meals. This was also about the time when plastic bottles became a real thing. And we just tossed them! I cringe thinking back to the change but if we knew then what we know now, would things be different? Convenience took over so we could have that short amount of family time that was leftover from working and commuting. Convenience is key! Being a single mom then living... More
